We simulate maps of the microwave background radiation for a model of inflationary primordial voids plus standard CDM. For some values of the parameters, we find in the angular power spectrum a second peak at l ~1000, correlated with the size, amplitude and number of the primordial voids. The next generation of microwave background maps will be able to test the scenario of inflationary first order phase transitions.

Abstract
We simulate maps of the microwave background radiation for a model of inflationary primordial voids plus standard CDM. For some values of the parameters, we find in the angular power spectrum a second peak at l ~1000, correlated with the size, amplitude and number of the primordial voids. The next generation of microwave background maps will be able to test the scenario of inflationary first order phase transitions.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
