Olfactory dysfunction (OD) is one of the most common symptoms of acute and long COVID-19.1,2 Qualitative OD frequently accompanies or follows quantitative olfactory loss.3 Few studies to date have combined both qualitative and quantitative evaluation of OD.4 The aim of this study was to estimate the prevalence of qualitative OD and evaluate its functional impact in post–COVID-19 patients by combining a validated questionnaire5 and a comprehensive olfactory psychophysical evaluation.
