FAIR by Design upgrade for the UNIMI NFFA-DI experimental offer

In my thesis work, the main topics introduced during the Master in Data Management and Curation are analyzed and examined. Initially, principles of Open Science and the importance of having FAIR data in the scientific world are discussed. Then the work and instrumentation of our research laboratory within the Physics Department of the University of Milan is described. The entire data fairification process carried out by our group on the provided instruments ( specifically on the Raman spectrometer) is analyzed and described, and the final product, namely the conversion of output files to NeXus format, will be shown. In the end, all the positive aspects of this automation process and all the difficulties we encountered during these months of work are listed.
