This thesis presents the development of AMORE (Autonomous Management of Outputs for Research Efficiency), a lightweight web-based software designed to facilitate the transition from traditional and unreliable paper notebooks to a more sophisticated eLN (electronic laboratory notebook) - specifically eLabFTW. The core objective is the alignment of the data collected by researchers with the FAIR principles. While eLabFTW itself already provides the tools to pursue this objective an additional step was needed to enforce a certain standard while simplifying the entry of new data and the update of old assets on the eLN: AMORE enforces our own standard in terms of sample nomenclature, provides an elementary sample tracking feature and presents to the user a simple interface to interact with.
